Paul Cezanne
by Kim, Year
4.

Paul Cezanne was a very famous artist. He was born on
the 19th of January, 1839 at Aix-en-Provence, a
small town in the south of France. His mother`s name was Anne-Elisabeth Horine Aubert and his father was called Louis Auguste Cezanne. They
both worked together as hat retailers in 1848, but then Cezanne`s father became the owner of a bank. He went to an art college in Paris.
Still life is when he places fruit in a bowl and it doesn't move and then he
paints it with every detail. He puts a tiny line and then he starts shading it and he
looks very careful and the colour makes it come alive.
Paul Cezanne mixes
the colours together. And he puts every shadow in the pictures.
Paul
Cezanne paints a tiny line then he shades it in. He has to look at the shadows and the light. He uses both thick and thin paint.
Paul Cezanne uses colours such as black, pink, red and purple.
In my opinion I think this picture is one of Cezanne's best pictures. It is my favourite
one because it stands out and it is so colourful and it is bright.
