Roedd darllen llyfr log yr ysgol yn hynod o ddiddorol, wedi ei ysgrifennu yn Saesneg ac yn dangos newidiadau enfawr ym myd addysg ac yn y gymdeithas yn gyffredinol.

Dyma bigion o 'r ffeithiau mwyaf diddorol a ddewisiodd y plant

1910. 8th December Afternoon too dull to take Needlework and
drawing.
1911 . 21st June The school was closed at noon this day by order of
the Medical Inspector, two deaths from Diptheria had occured in the
village.
1912. 29th April There are 55 children in the Infants Classroom only
18 x 16, with several children waiting for admission.
1913. 31st January Some of the children are in great need of some
strong boots or clogs, their feet often get quite wet.

1914. 21st January The school was dusty this morning , had to leave
the children in the yard.

1914. 30th March The health of the children has been exceptionally
good but in the last weeks signs of exhaustion have appeared.

1914 29th May The police Officer informed me of complaints from
the local farmers about the children trespassing by going along the
river to fish in the midday playtime, stone throwing was another
complaint.

1914 28th September Had cement one and six worth from Cloth Hall
to do some repairs to the school wall and to stop water in the house.

1915 23rd January Children coming in late from Rhoscefnhir would
have to stay late to make time up.

1916. 23rd November Hugh Owen interfered with the bell, I gave him
4 slaps on the hand.

1918. 30th April The dentist visited the school, 47 children were
examined and 16 teeth extracted.

1918. 2nd September It was reported to me that a number of
villagers were using the school closets.

1922 16th January The infants are smoked out of their classroom.

1922. 15th December Cases of diptheria, school is closed, a 10 year
old boy died this morning. He was top of his class.

1938 24th June School trip to Stoke on Trent visited the Wedgewood
factories.

1943 30th July Will be closed for two weeks in August so the older
boys can assist with the potato harvest.

1945 8th / 9th May National Holiday to celebrate the end of the war in
Europe.

1963 26th April School closed, pupils of standard 2,3 and 4 taken to
see the opening ceremony of the new Comprehensive School at
Menai Bridge by Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon.

1965. 26th March A break into the school canteen, the village
policeman called, 6lbs sugar, biscuits and blancmange was missing.
P.C. Jones will keep watch tonight.

1965. 29th March P.C. Jones entered the canteen unseen at 7.30 p.m.
He repoprted to me the culprit had been caught red handed inside
the canteen.

1977. 23rd March Received a water colour picture of Traeth Coch in
the will of the late John Williams Hughes , the world wide traveller
from Marianglas. The painting was painted by Ifor o Fon, Pandy,
Pentraeth, he was a famous Opera singer. Ifor Thomas died in New
York, America in 1956.
